What I’m about to say may hurt your feelings but understand its whole intention is to help you deal with what we all go through. Letting people go.

I was recently asked how I make it look so easy to “just cut people out of my life”. Let me tell you something, I don’t care who you are it’s not easy cutting/removing people (especially family) out of your life.

2016 what I felt like to put ME FIRST. When I put me first, I all of a sudden had more for others. It was a good feeling.

Me first everyday led to better life, family, relationship with my family, and money.

When I made me a priority for my business I made more money.

I have more money to give to others and tip very well. (I don’t even post what we tip, but I assure you it’s more than 100+% most nights.)

You see it’s not about “cutting them out of your life”. It’s about removing the mis-alignment from the equation.

The only way you find that is to put YOU FIRST.

The people that don’t align with your energy aren’t going to be good for your progress AND you won’t be good for theirs.

It’s not easy at first and there’s no part of it that makes it fun. The way I make it look easy is I know what’s at stake if I don’t put myself before our friendship.

You’re reading this and know a few people you must let go for YOUR progress.

Now, do it so you can make forward progress.

Quit holding onto the idea that everyone is supposed to be in your life for a lifetime. If there’s something I’ve learned about people walking out on me once they’re done using me, is that they were only there for the good seasons that benefitted them.

And when I realize that, that’s when it’s over. You can’t come back from that with me. We will be cordial but you’ll know I realized my worth to you. And since it didn’t add up to my self evaluation (from years of ME FIRST) we will be done.

What’s even crazier, is the people that understand this concept are probably going to be in your life for a lifetime. Trust the process and be a lighthouse.

So no it isn’t easy removing people from my life. What is easy is realizing that if they stay, that’s the compromise for my growth.

I’ve come to far to let negative energy hang around.

Crush your day!
